On October 6th TikTok influencer Quen Blackwell (@quenblackwell) uploaded a video to her account freaking the hell out because she had supposedly purchased a couch for $100,000 by mistake. She explains between sobs that she ‘put in the offer as a joke,’ and that when it got accepted she had to pull her car off the road because she was so nauseous. She immediately gets to asking her viewers for donations to help her pay for the absurdly-priced piece of furniture. The comment section wasted no time clowning the obviously well-off star for the ridiculous purchase.

I cant inhale.

Five days later, on October 11th, Quen uploaded a follow-up “aftermath” TikTok in which she claims they won’t give her a refund, so the only logical thing left for her to do is start an OnlyFans to pay for the couch. In the background of the TikTok is a screenshot of directions to the OF link. She ends the video with an abrupt change in tone abandoning her crocodile tears, sparking skepticism from viewers.

Given that the only thing in her TikTok bio is

quenblackwellteam@unitedtalent.com,” as in United Talent Agency, a talent agency that represents actors, we can surmise that Ms. Blackwell was more than likely acting in both videos. Piecing together what we have, it’s pretty obvious the whole “incident,” as she calls it, was a ploy to announce her new OnlyFans account, and a pretty clever one at that.
